FlowShorts Token & Refund Terms

These terms form part of the FlowShorts Terms of Service and explain how tokens, payments and refunds work. FlowShorts is operated by Mercury International Ltd., Sofia, Bulgaria.

1. What tokens are

1.1 Tokens are how you pay for generations on FlowShorts (scripts, voiceovers, images, video clips, music and finished reels). There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.

1.2 Tokens are a prepaid, limited licence to use the Service. They are not money, not electronic money, not a deposit, not a gift card and not a financial product. They have no cash value, earn no interest, and can only be used on FlowShorts.

1.3 Tokens belong to the account that bought or received them. They cannot be transferred, sold, gifted, pooled or exchanged with other accounts or for anything outside FlowShorts.

1.4 There are two kinds of tokens, shown separately in your balance:

2. Buying tokens

2.1 You buy tokens in packs. Current packs (prices in US dollars, before tax):

Packs, prices and bonuses may change for future purchases. The pack, tokens and price shown at checkout are what you get.

2.2 Promotions. We may offer promotions that add bonus tokens, such as a first-purchase bonus or a limited-time launch bonus. Each promotion states its terms and end date. Unless stated otherwise: one promotion per purchase; promotions cannot be combined except with the standard pack bonus; total bonus on a purchase is capped at 40% of its paid tokens; promotions are one per person and per household/payment method; and promotional bonuses cannot be exchanged for cash or paid tokens.

2.3 Taxes. Prices exclude VAT, GST and sales tax. Applicable tax is calculated from your location and added at checkout before you pay. Your bank may charge currency conversion fees; we do not control these.

2.4 Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. Tokens are credited when the payment succeeds. We may decline or cancel a purchase to prevent fraud, or if a price was displayed in obvious error (in which case we refund you in full).

3. Spending tokens

3.1 Price shown first, then locked. Before you generate anything, FlowShorts shows its token cost. When you click Generate, that price is locked and deducted. You are never charged more than the price shown for that generation. Edits, re-generations and re-renders are new generations with their own price shown first.

3.2 Spend order. Bonus tokens are used first (the ones expiring soonest first), then paid tokens (oldest pack first).

3.3 Failed generations. If a generation fails for a technical reason on our side or our AI provider’s (for example it errors, times out or produces no file), the tokens are returned to your balance automatically.

3.4 Quality. AI results vary. If an Output is clearly defective (for example corrupted, silent, or missing scenes), contact support within 14 days. We may give you a re-generation credit as bonus tokens. Dissatisfaction with style, creative choices or performance on social media is not a defect.

3.5 Not refunded: tokens spent on generations that completed, including where you later decide not to use the video; posts that fail or are removed, muted, limited or demonetised by YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook; and Outputs removed for breaching our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy. Requests blocked by safety filters before generation starts are not charged.

4. Refunds

4.1 14-day refund of unused paid tokens. Within 14 days of buying a pack, you can ask for a refund of that pack’s unused paid tokens by emailing support@reelshow.com (or via Settings → Billing, when available). This applies to everyone, wherever you live.

4.2 How the amount is calculated.

1. Refund = unused paid tokens from that pack × the price you paid per paid token (for example $0.025 on the $10 pack).
2. All bonus tokens from that purchase (pack bonus and any promotion) are removed. If some of them were already spent, their value at the same per-token price is deducted from the refund.
3. Tax is refunded in proportion. We do not deduct payment processing fees.

Example: you buy the $50 pack (2,000 paid + 200 bonus) and spend 300 tokens. Bonus tokens are spent first, so 200 bonus and 100 paid tokens are used. Refund = 1,900 × $0.025 = $47.50, minus the 200 spent bonus tokens × $0.025 = $5.00 → $42.50 plus the matching tax.

4.3 Refunds go to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of approval. A promotion used on a refunded purchase counts as used.

4.4 After 14 days, paid tokens are not refundable, except where these Terms say otherwise (Service shutdown, account closure not caused by you, or a token price increase you do not accept) or where the law requires it.

4.5 EU/UK right of withdrawal. At checkout you ask us to credit tokens immediately. You keep a 14-day right to withdraw for tokens you have not spent, exercised as in 4.1. You acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for tokens once you spend them, because the digital service has then been fully supplied. You can also withdraw using the model withdrawal form required by law, sent to support@reelshow.com.

4.6 We may refuse refund requests that are part of a pattern of abuse (for example repeatedly buying, spending bonus tokens and refunding), to the extent the law allows, and may restrict future purchases on that account.

5. Expiry, fraud and other rules

5.1 Expiry. Paid tokens never expire. Bonus tokens expire 12 months after they are granted, or earlier if a promotion states a shorter period. Your balance screen shows when bonus tokens expire, and we will remind you by email before a significant amount expires.

5.2 Fraud and chargebacks. If a payment is reversed, charged back or found to be unauthorised, we remove the tokens from that purchase (including bonus tokens). If they were already spent, your balance may go negative and you must settle it before generating again. We may suspend accounts involved in payment fraud, stolen cards or chargeback abuse. If you dispute a charge you authorised, please contact us first so we can resolve it.

5.3 Multiple accounts and abuse. Bonus and promotional tokens obtained through multiple accounts, fake identities, automation or other abuse may be removed without notice.

5.4 Changes to token costs. Our costs depend on third-party AI providers, so we may change the token cost of actions for future generations. The price shown before you click Generate always applies to that generation. If we increase token costs of existing actions by more than 10%, we will give at least 14 days’ notice in the app and by email, and you may request a refund of unused paid tokens bought in the 90 days before the change.

5.5 Account closure and shutdown. If you delete your account, request any refund you are entitled to first; remaining tokens are forfeited. If we close your account for breach or fraud, remaining tokens are forfeited except where the law requires otherwise. If we close your account for any other reason or shut down FlowShorts, we will give at least 30 days’ notice where possible and refund unused paid tokens at the price you paid.

5.6 Inactive accounts. We will not delete an account that holds paid tokens because of inactivity.
