FlowShorts Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This policy is part of the FlowShorts Terms of Service. It applies to everything you put into FlowShorts (prompts, scripts, uploads), everything you generate, and everything you publish through it. You are responsible for your content even though it is AI-generated.
1. Prohibited content
Do not create, upload or publish content that:
- Involves minors harmfully — any sexualisation of minors, or content that endangers, exploits or targets children. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities.
- Is sexually explicit or pornographic, or depicts non-consensual sexual content.
- Promotes violence or terrorism — threats, incitement, glorifying violent extremists or attacks, or instructions for weapons or explosives.
- Is hateful or harassing — attacks people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or similar characteristics; bullying, doxxing or targeting private individuals.
- Encourages self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
- Promotes illegal or regulated goods and activities — drugs, weapons, gambling without licence, counterfeit goods, hacking, fraud.
- Infringes intellectual property — copyrighted characters, footage, music, logos or trademarks you have no rights to.
- Is graphic — gratuitous gore or real-world violence presented for shock.
2. Real people, AI and truthfulness
- Fictional characters only. Uploaded characters must be fictional or AI-generated. No photos, voices or likenesses of real people — including yourself, celebrities, politicians or private individuals.
- No deepfakes or impersonation. Do not make content that shows, voices or imitates a real person, or that pretends to be from a real person, brand, government or news outlet.
- No defamation. True-crime, history, news, finance and similar videos must not present false statements about real, identifiable people or businesses as fact. Check facts before publishing; AI scripts can be wrong.
- No harmful misinformation about elections and voting, public health, emergencies, or financial returns (for example promising guaranteed profits).
- No fake reviews, testimonials or endorsements.
- Label AI content where the law or a platform requires it. Do not present AI-generated scenes as real footage of real events.
- No regulated advice presented as professional — medical, legal or investment advice must not be presented as coming from a qualified professional.
3. Platform, spam and advertising rules
- Follow the rules of every platform you post to, including YouTube’s, TikTok’s and Meta’s policies on spam, repetitive or mass-produced content, AI disclosure, music and monetisation.
- Only connect accounts you own or are authorised to manage. Do not use FlowShorts to run fake, bot or impersonation accounts, or to manipulate views, likes or followers.
- Do not post the same or near-identical videos at high volume across accounts to game platform algorithms.
- Disclose paid promotions, sponsorships and affiliate links as the law (for example US FTC rules or EU consumer law) and the platform require.
- Do not use FlowShorts for political advertising or election campaigning.
4. Prohibited conduct
- Creating multiple accounts, using fake identities, or abusing referral, bonus or promotional offers.
- Using stolen payment methods, or buying tokens to resell, transfer or launder money.
- Bypassing or testing safety filters, rate limits or token pricing, including prompt-injection or jailbreak attempts.
- Scraping, automated access, or reverse engineering the Service, outside features we provide.
- Extracting model details or using Outputs to train a competing AI model.
- Uploading malware, or interfering with the Service, other users or our providers.
- Sharing your account or reselling access to FlowShorts.
5. Enforcement and reporting
We may block prompts, remove content, disable features, revoke bonus tokens, or suspend or close accounts that break this policy, in proportion to how serious and repeated the breach is. Serious breaches (child safety, credible threats, payment fraud) lead to immediate closure and, where required, a report to the authorities. Tokens spent on violating content are not refunded. We explain our decisions and you can appeal, as set out in section 8 of the Terms of Service.
